EVCCA Leadership Team

Amy Drummet, EVCCA Executive Director
Amy has worked for EVCCA since 2005 when she was hired as the Director of the Vail Child Care Center (VCCC). In early 2006, as the Miller Ranch Child Care Center (MRCCC) was opening, Amy moved into the position of Executive Director for EVCCA. Currently, Amy works collaboratively with each site director to assure smooth operations for both the VCCC and MRCCC. In addition, Amy reports to the Board of Directors, manages staffing, financials, and curriculum.

Amy received her B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and her M.A. in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Family Mediation from the University of Missouri. Amy obtained her State of Colorado Large Child Care Center Director Certification in 2000. Amy has a State of Colorado Level V Early Childhood Professional Credential from the Colorado Department of Human Services with an Infant-Toddler Endorsement.

In addition to her work in various capacities for EVCCA, Amy has worked as a director of a small preschool in Eagle and as a Youth Services Coordinator for the Vail Recreation District. She has participated in the Environmental Rating Scales training and training in the Pyramid Model that is supported by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning.

Cindy Lagace, Vail Child Care Center Site Director
Cindy was hired by EVCCA in November 2004 as the Assistant Director and completed the management team that led the Vail Child Care Center. In March of 2006 Cindy was promoted to Director of VCCC.

Cindy has a B.A. in Physical Education from University of South Florida and an A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Colorado Mountain College. Cindy obtained her State of Colorado Large Center Director Certificate in 1995. Cindy also has a Level IV Early Childhood Professional Credential from the Colorado Department of Human Services. In 2009, Cindy received the prestigious Moe Mulrooney Award for the Inspiration in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Lindsey Simmonds
Lindsey was hired by EVCCA in November 2011 as the Miller Ranch Child Care Site Director for EVCCA and reports to Executive Director, Amy Drummet.

Lindsey Simmonds has worked in the Early Childhood Education field for over 16 years. Lindsey moved to Eagle County from Lone Tree, CO where she was the Director of Compass Child Care for Douglas County School District.

Lindsey studied Early Childhood Education at both Metropolitan State University of Denver and Colorado Mountain College. Lindsey graduated from the Franklin Covey Leadership Academy.
